In a search for the perfect chain–one we could make by hand, and wear everyday, that was undoubtedly fine– we created the Long & Short chain.
This chain has a traditional link pattern of elongated paperclip-esque links connected with smaller ovals. It lays flat on the arm or chest in perfect arrangement. Each link is carefully shaped, pieced together, and fully soldered in our Burlington studio.
The chain is clasped with a subtly decorated lobster clasp for maximum durability. It is flanked by a miniature chain structure that is symmetrical and functional: one side is fixed with molten gold to create an easy point of contact between chain and clasp.
