FAQ

Shipping

Most Rackk & Ruin jewelry is made to order and shipped within 4-7 business days, unless otherwise noted, via USPS (we offer free First Class shipping on orders over $125). We also offer USPS Priority Mail and Priority Express if you would like a faster shipping option at checkout but please reach out to us to see when we will be able to ship the piece/s you are interested in since many styles are made to order. Because we are not liable for the loss or theft of a package, we offer the option adding insurance coverage for an additional cost. Just contact us after placing your order and we can help you sort it out.

A shipment tracking number will be emailed when your order is en route. If your order is time sensitive, please contact us at studio@rackkandruin.com before you place the order and we will do our best to accommodate your needs!

*Covid Update:

Our Burlington shop is back open with limited hours (yayyy!) and we are also are offering curbside or in-store pickup for local customers: use the code 'CURBSIDE' at checkout for free shipping and to let us know you will be picking up and we will be in touch!* USPS First Class shipping is especially slow right now so please consider choosing Priority to help insure a speedy delivery.

Are you local? We encourage local customers to pick up their order in store to reduce our carbon footprint and browse our studio. Let us know in the order notes if you will be picking it up! If you would like to try on or purchase a piece at our Burlington, VT studio please contact us to see if we have the style in stock! If not, we will make one for you to try on or purchase.

International Shipping

International orders are shipped via USPS First Class International. Please note that international delivery time ranges from 3-6 weeks and accurate tracking is not available. We are not responsible for packages taking longer than average nor are we for packages lost in transit. We are not responsible for any international import taxes or customs charges.

Jewelry Returns

Of course we hope you love your new Rackk & Ruin piece, but if for any reason you do not, we are happy to process returns within 10 days of your order's arrival (or 7 days from purchase at our Burlington, VT shop) for store credit or exchange. Sustainability

Being a small, maker-owned operation, sustainability is a priority when making and selling our work. All jewelry is made in Burlington, Vermont with care and consciously sourced materials.

Our operations focus on social responsibility and ethical sourcing, and the majority of the metals we use are recycled. 100% of our gold is recycled and does not support current mining practices. We make every effort to buy stones from their source and support reputable conflict-free stone providers like Stuller

When sending off your new piece of R&R jewelry, we use plastic-free packaging made of natural and recycled materials. Each jewelry box is lined with carded wool and select pieces from our Fine Collection are delivered in a reusable velvet-lined wooden box made from pine harvested from a managed forest in Costa Rica.
