Minoa Earrings
Minoa Earrings
On the island of Crete the first advanced culture of Greece gestated and flourished. The Minoan civilization fostered a reverence for aesthetics, writing and architecture on the shores of the Aegean's pale blue waters and became the first link in a rich history of European arts and culture. From this buried antiquity we have uncovered a simple, yet instinctual sense of how we may not only behold beauty, but create it. The Minoa earrings borrow aquatic patterning often used in Minoan pottery, hand wrought in golden wire and clutching naturally formed fluorite prisms.
