Phia Charm
Phia Charm
The Phia is a double-sided charm we created by combining two vintage decorative coins selected from a vintage charm bracelet. A symbol of dualities, the coin is two-headed with the female personification of Liberty facing forward, and a Roman emperor's bust at her back.

Many years ago, my mom passed down a simple gold necklace with a gold-colored buffalo nickel charm that I wore non-stop until I discovered (to my horror) that I'd lost it. The Phia charm reminds me so much of that coin pendant (that I later found out my grandfather had discovered on the ground in a parking lot - what?!), and I wear it daily on a simple gold chain. A beautiful, simple piece with a story behind it - and while I'll always regret the loss of the original, I love that this coin showcases a *female* silhouette on the front :) (mine has the old style bail which was thinner, but I'm a fan of both!)
