We love using unrefined elements because they are closest to their natural state. This also means that they are each unique in their color, shape, chips and inclusions. In matching a pair, we are conscious to maintain visual continuity in form and size.

Coral
Coral has been cherished in jewelry for over 25,000 years. In Greek mythology, red coral was believed to be the petrified blood of Medusa, spreading into the sea after her death at the hands of Perseus. In Ancient Rome, it was used as a protective talisman against the evil eye, especially for children, and continues to be worn today as a symbol of luck.
All of our coral is repurposed from vintage jewelry, giving it new life and meaning.
Coral has a hardness of 3 to 4 on the Mohs scale, making it relatively soft and prone to scratching. This softness requires careful handling, especially when used in jewelry, to maintain its beauty over time.
